Directors of the Rotary Club of West El Paso

The term of office of the directors is two years; staggered in such a way that half of them is elected each year. It shall be the duty of the directors to preside over the standing committees representing the various avenues of service as defined in THE OBJECT OF ROTARY, and any other standing committee that may be created.

Community Services Director: Marcos Lizarraga

Marcos, a native of El Paso, is a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, and a 1979 graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso. He is certified as a specialist in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a recently retired First Assistant in the El Paso District Attorney’s Office. Marcos has been active on numerous boards, including STARS, the El Paso Shelter for Battered Women (now known as the Center Against Family Violence), and the Hispanic Leadership Institute of El Paso. He is also a graduate of Leadership El Paso (Class 20). Marcos Lizárraga has been married to his wife, Cissy, for thirty-three years; he is the father of three grown daughters. He enjoys travelling and reading.
